Cone Mills is one of America’s oldest and most respected denim and textile manufacturers, headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina. Founded in 1891 by brothers Moses and Caesar Cone, the company began as a textile sales operation before establishing its own manufacturing facilities. Cone Mills became internationally recognized for its premium denim fabrics, supplying major denim brands including Levi Strauss & Co. for over a century.

The company specializes in the production of denim, corduroy, and other cotton fabrics, operating state-of-the-art weaving and finishing plants across North Carolina and internationally. Cone Mills’ White Oak plant, in operation since 1905, became particularly famous for producing authentic selvedge denim fabrics prized by premium denim enthusiasts worldwide. In 2004, Cone Mills merged with Paragon Trade Brands and was later acquired by International Textile Group (ITG). The company continues to be a leader in sustainable denim manufacturing, investing in water recycling and chemical reduction technologies to minimize its environmental footprint.
